Position Overview:
Services include long-term skilled nursing, short-term rehabilitation, hospice, pediatric care, ventilator services, and specialized programs for cognitive impairments. The Pediatric Unit APP will support the pediatric physician in providing daily care and assessments for pediatric residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform pediatric physical assessments.
- Monitor developmental milestones and health status.
- Collaborate with pediatric physicians on treatment plans.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- NP: Master’s in Nursing (or)
- PA: Accredited PA Program
- Licensure:
- Active NYS NP or PA License
- Pediatrics Certification (preferred)
- Technical Skills: Complex care coordination
- Soft Skills: Family-centered communication, interdisciplinary collaboration
