We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Manager, Content Marketing to join our team. This is a hands-on role for a content marketer who thrives on creating, optimizing, and publishing high-impact content - while also stepping into leadership opportunities by managing a designer and contributing to the marketing team’s strategic direction.

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will play a key role in developing and executing content programs that fuel organic growth, strengthen Gravyty’s brand authority, and support revenue goals. This role is ideal for a “doer” who excels in execution today but aspires to become a strategic content marketing leader in the future.

This is a fully remote role and can be held by an employee living in Canada or the United States.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Execution

  • Write, edit, and publish high-quality content including blogs, case studies, whitepapers, website copy, and thought leadership articles.
  • Design, launch, and analyze surveys to generate insights that power Gravyty’s original research publications.
  • Maintain a consistent and authoritative brand voice across all content and channels.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to produce compelling stories that resonate with higher education and nonprofit audiences.

Website Content & SEO

  • Manage website content in WordPress, ensuring optimization for SEO, alignment with the buyer’s journey, and conversion readiness.
  • Use SEMrush and other SEO tools to conduct keyword research, analyze competitors, and monitor performance.
  • Collaborate with web development and design teams to deliver engaging digital experiences.

Social Media & Community Engagement

  • Build and execute an organic social media calendar to grow brand awareness, thought leadership, and engagement.
  • Tailor content for each platform while maintaining a unified brand voice.
  • Track performance metrics and provide insights for optimization.

Thought Leadership & Collaboration

  • Work with executives and subject matter experts to produce articles, interviews, and blogs that elevate Gravyty’s industry position.
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Customer Marketing to amplify customer stories and proof points.

Content Syndication & Distribution

  • Manage content syndication and distribution programs to expand reach and generate qualified leads.
  • Partner with Growth Marketing to align distribution efforts with pipeline goals.

Team Leadership

  • Manage and mentor the in-house designer to deliver creative assets that support content and campaign needs.
  • Participate in broader marketing strategy discussions, bringing a content-first perspective.

Outcome Goals

  • Increased organic traffic and lead generation through high-performing content.
  • Enhanced social and website engagement that translates into stronger conversion rates.
  • Stronger brand authority and credibility through consistent thought leadership.
  • Scalable content syndication and distribution programs that extend reach and impact.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of B2B SaaS content marketing experience, with a proven track record as an individual contributor.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences.
  • Strong expertise managing website content in WordPress, including SEO optimization and conversion-focused updates.
  • Proficiency with SEMrush (or similar SEO tools) for keyword research, competitive analysis, and performance tracking.
  • Familiarity with organic social media strategy and analytics.
  • Experience managing creative resources (e.g., designers, agencies).
  • Exposure to content syndication/distribution programs and their impact on pipeline.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to balance multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable with marketing technology tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, and other martech platforms.
  • Desire to grow into a strategic leadership role in content marketing.
