Senior Security Engineer - Enterprise AI Security
Skills
- 5+ years information security experience with 2+ years focused on enterprise AI/ML security
- Experience with identity and access management, especially non-human identity governance
- Hands-on experience with secrets management, API keys, certificates, and machine-to-machine authentication
- Cloud security experience across AWS, GCP, and/or Azure
- Scripting and automation experience (Python, Go, Ruby, Node.js)
- Knowledge of API security, OAuth, SAML, and modern authentication protocols
- Experience with data loss prevention (DLP) and data protection controls
- Strong written and asynchronous communication skills for a distributed workforce
Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI security architectures for internal LLMs, AI assistants, and AI-powered business applications.
- Secure Model Context Protocol (MCP) server deployments, define authentication standards, and monitor MCP interactions.
- Architect governance and identity controls for non-human identities (agents, service accounts, automated systems) with zero-trust and least-privilege principles.
- Establish data protection controls and data classification to prevent sensitive data leakage via AI systems and implement privacy-preserving techniques.
- Govern and secure employee use of external AI assistants through DLP controls, monitoring, and policy enforcement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Product Security, IT, Legal, and business teams to evaluate, onboard, and monitor AI tools.
- Provide security training, drafting policy, and supporting procurement reviews for new AI technologies.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Ongoing professional development or certifications in security (e.g., CISSP, CISM) preferred but not required
