- Expert technical writing and content development for customized equipment
- Experience with structured or semi-structured authoring and content management systems
- Proficiency with XML, Siemens Teamcenter, and web technologies including HTML, JavaScript, Perl, Python, and RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with headless content management systems (CMS)
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud tools (InDesign, Acrobat, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Strong knowledge of technical document lifecycle and publishing processes
- Good computer skills across multiple OS environments
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain technical manuals and customer-facing content for GILLIG’s transit buses
- Design, implement, and develop page layouts and content architectures for new delivery systems including video and web
- Create and optimize content provisioning processes for new content systems
- Author technical publications according to established standards and deliver on time
- Research, interpret, and translate complex technical data into clear language
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and team members on content creation and strategy
- Analyze and identify requirements for illustrations and graphics in documentation
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or certificate in Technical Writing or equivalent professional experience
