$40 - $65 per hour, commensurate with experience.

The New York office of Frost Productions is seeking experienced GrandMA Programmers who are based in the Tri-State area (New York, New Jersey and Connecticut) to join our team on a freelance basis.

Our shows incorporate all types of lighting including architectural, theatrical, and concert design

concepts.

Compensation: $40 - $65 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Position Responsibilities:

-Responsible for setup and operation of lighting consoles and equipment

-Programming automated LED and conventional lighting fixtures to create scenes, looks, and effects that complement and enhance the decor and nature of events

-Direct all technicians under their supervision in the completion of any tasks to deliver the expected level of service, providing guidance when necessary

-Fulfill the role of System Tech, Console Operator or both when required, depending on the size of the event

Position Requirements:

-Proficient in GrandMA Series (All versions)

-Networking of consoles and DMX nodes

-Ability to stay calm under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and design on the fly

-Comfortable working in a high-stress and fast-paced environment

-Ability to interpret event technical documents such as technical riders, channel/dimmer hookups, stage plots, run-of-show, cue lists, etc.

-Availability and willingness to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

-Punctuality, professionalism, and a positive collaborative attitude when working with clients and co-workers

Preferred Qualifications:

-Experience in the special event market or related field

-Self-motivated with ability to work on several projects simultaneously with minimal supervision
