Cedar Point Live Entertainment is now hiring skilled Entertainment Technicians for our 2025 Halloweekends Season.
We are continuing our long legacy of great live shows this Halloweekends and are looking for a number of technicians with experience in Audio, Lighting and Backstage tracks. Technicians will be responsible for running and maintaining the show quality for their designated production.
We are looking for Technicians available from Late August through Halloween.
HalloWeekends event install + rehearsals will take place from August 19th through September 10th while the HalloWeekends event run will take place Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sundays from September 11th through November 1st.
Show Tracks are 3 days on with extra hours available to help maintain and fix Haunt attractions and shows while park is closed.

Electrician:
- Moderate knowledge of ETC EOS consoles including APEX10, APEX Processors, Gio, Ion and Nomad Pucks
- Moderate DMX signal path troubleshooting
- Experience with ETC show control including SMPTE/MIDI timecode and Midi Show Control
- Experience with wireless DMX including EFly and CityTheatrical Multiverse
- Comfortable with power distro racks and power distribution
- Beginner knowledge of networking including signal chain and ensuring connectivity between devices
- Understanding of conventional and moving lighting fixtures including Elation, Chauvet, and ADJ
- Being able to busk or take cues based on notes left from the designer in case of emergency
- Read, install, and maintain lighting plots in their designated space including daily checks
- Be able to solder and troubleshoot Pixel/LED tape
- Basic understanding of video walls including power distribution and data
- Comfortable with heights up to 40 feet, including ladders, lifts, and scaffolding using proper PPE.
- Ability to solve lighting issues on the fly including bad data, playback issues, timecode issues, and others
- Basic soldering skills
Audio Technician
- Moderate to Advanced knowledge of digital consoles including Allen + Heath, Yamaha or Mackie
- Intermediate knowledge of basic Dante systems
- Advanced signal path troubleshooting
- Comfortable with mixing live bands including Guitar, Bass, Keys, Vocals, Drums (Electronic and Acoustic) as well as brass.
- Prior Experience mixing In Ear Monitors or Wedges
- General knowledge of QLab show control including multitrack playback, Midi Show Control and Timecode
- Help build and maintain audio racks for each venue including wireless receivers and transmitters, amplifiers and power distribution
- Entry level knowledge of networking including manual IP addresses and ranges
- Moderate understanding of gain structure and EQ-ing of vocals and instruments
- Beginner audio equipment upkeep experience including headset and instrument microphones and Shure wireless packs
- Ability to solve audio issues on the fly including interference, playback issues and others
- Experience mixing via iPad apps is a plus!
- Basic lighting experience is a plus!
Backstage Technician
- Experience in run crew in either scenic or props
- General Theatrical knowledge
- Comfortable with moving large scenic items during show run
- Comfortable with passing off props and catching things mid show
- General Electrical and Audio knowledge is a plus!
Fog Tech - Houses and zones are open 4 days a week, Thursday through Sunday.
- Maintain Haunted Attraction technical equipment including Source 4's, Foggers, Hazer, Strobe lights and LED lights.
- Refill and maintain consistent fog and haze level for attractions.
- Work with Park Supervision and designers to bring new experiences to life
- Work with Park Supervision on needed upkeep and maintenance needed from other departments to give the best guest experience
