Additionally, we assist members with SNAP enrollment and management, providing tangible access to nutritious food. In 2024, Foodsmart secured a $200 million investment from TPG’s Rise Fund, which supports entrepreneurs dedicated to achieving the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. This investment will help us expand our reach, particularly to low-income workers who are disproportionately affected by diet-related diseases.

About the role:

As the Sr. Manager of Business Operations at Foodsmart, you will be at the forefront of driving operational excellence and aligning cross-functional teams to execute against our most important and impactful company priorities. Reporting directly to the SVP of Operations and working closely with the Executive Team, you’ll tackle complex, business-critical challenges, such as diagnosing the root causes behind and creating action plans for sudden shifts in KPIs and surfacing operational bottlenecks that impact growth. You'll identify and drive solutions that improve how we operate at scale, from process refinement to performance measurement, all in service of our mission to make healthy food accessible to all. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution—someone who can identify opportunities, build and operationalize processes, and influence outcomes across a diverse set of stakeholders. 

• Design, implement and improve core operational workflows to reduce friction and drive execution speed Lead cross-functional planning and execution to ensure company-wide alignment around strategic priorities (e.g., revenue and margin targets).
• Partner cross-functionally with teams including Analytics, Product, Marketing and Clinical Operations to transform insights into executable plans and embed them into daily operations. Identify and close performance gaps across departments, leveraging data and collaboration to drive improved efficiency, revenue growth, and EBITDA margin.
• Oversee and evolve key operational frameworks such as OKRs and cross-functional initiative tracking to promote alignment and accountability.
• Support the development and scaling of internal systems, tools, and processes that enable high-performing teams and long-term growth.
• Support strategic decision-marking through root-cause analysis and scenario planning.

• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and bringing order to fast-moving, evolving environments

• Execution-driven and hand-on, able to roll up your sleeves to build, enforce and iterate

• A collaborative and influential partner who can work effectively across functions, levels, and perspectives

• Mission-driven and excited to contribute to a team making a meaningful impact in healthcare and nutrition

• 7+ years of experience in business operations, strategy & operations, or consulting, with experience building, scaling and owning operational systems and process frameworks

• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive execution across diverse stakeholders

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; experience using data to inform decisions and measure success

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex information for executive audiences

• Experience managing or supporting organizational performance processes such as OKRs, KPI tracking, or strategic planning cycles

• A passion for operational excellence and continuous improvement
