Farmers Insurance District 40 is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Recruiter to help identify, attract, and onboard top-tier talent for our growing network of agencies across Michigan. In this role, you’ll play a key part in driving the district’s success by connecting ambitious professionals to meaningful careers in the insurance industry.
As a Recruiter, you’ll manage the full-cycle recruiting process — from sourcing candidates and conducting interviews to guiding them through licensing and onboarding. You’ll partner closely with agency owners and district leadership to understand hiring needs and ensure each new hire is set up for long-term success.
Source and engage high-potential candidates through platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn, and IdealTraits.
Conduct screening calls and preliminary interviews to evaluate candidate fit and motivation.
Coordinate with agency owners and district staff to schedule interviews and manage candidate flow.
Track candidate progress through licensing, background checks, and onboarding phases.
Maintain recruiting dashboards, reports, and data tracking to ensure accurate performance metrics.
Contribute ideas for improving recruitment marketing, job postings, and candidate experience.
Prior experience in recruiting, staffing, or talent acquisition (insurance industry experience a plus).
Strong communication skills — comfortable conducting interviews and presenting opportunities.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple pipelines and deadlines.
Tech-savvy and familiar with online recruiting tools, CRMs, and job boards.
