Equifax is seeking User Interface (UI) Developers to create great looking user interface designs for web, mobile, and desktop. The role will focus on front-end development and design, while also contributing to back-end development. You are passionate, committed and enjoy collaborating with others to find new solutions to complex business challenges. What you will do
You will build new UI components with quality front end code that fulfills the technical requirements for usability and cross-platform/system scalability while enabling a superior user interface
Where possible, you will drive efficiencies by building modular layouts, reusable code and libraries for future use
You will collaborate with other stakeholders including design teams, back end developers, product management and quality engineering
You will help back-end developers with testing and troubleshooting
You will stay up to date on emerging technologies
You will edit functional requirements documentation
You will help set technical standards and best practices for the front end team
What experience you need
BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent job experience required
0-2 years of experience in a development role, or equivalent project/internship experience.
You have a mastery of modern application programming languages including advanced CSS, JavaScript and modern JavaScript UI frameworks
Experience building front-ends that interact with back-end APIs (e.g., connecting to a Flask/Python back-end).
Basic understanding of SQL and experience with databases.
You have experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
You exhibit a commitment to lifelong learning since technology is always changing
You have the ability to think outside the box to solve problems creatively
You have the ability to communicate effectively so that all involved understand what is being done

Basic knowledge of cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker.
