Description
We're seeking a Clinical Quality Coordinator (Registered Nurse / RN) responsible to gain an understanding of the rules & regulations and structural understanding of internal & external metrics-produce data. This indvididual is responsible for data collection, presentation and dissemination, registry/regulatory compliance and publicly reported data. They will use data to drive improvement to identify performance opportunities in data analysis, team facilitation, and regulatory reporting; including:
Health Data Analytics:
- Apply procedures for the governance of data assets (understanding data abstraction specifications)
- Acquire data from source systems
- Design data collection plans for KPIs
- Integrate data from internal and external electronic systems
- Use statistical and visualization methods
Patient Safety:
- Identify and report patient safety risks and events
- Collaborate to analyze patient safety risks and events
Quality Review & Accountability:
- Execute measure requirements
- Facilitate practitioner performance review activities
Performance and Process Improvement:
- Apply procedures for the governance of data assets (fielding data requests)
- Implement standard PPI methods.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's in Nursing.
- Minimum five years of experience working in a complex healthcare work environment.
- Must have a valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
- CPHQ preferred.
- Knowledge of Quality Improvement Methodology, Data Collection and Analysis and Improvement techniques.
- Position specific experience or certification may be preferred based on various additional duties.
