Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimize end-to-end accounts receivable processes, policies, and controls
- Manage invoicing standards and timely invoice delivery to sales and accounting teams
- Supervise cash application and receivables subledger management for accuracy
- Develop and execute collection strategies; collaborate with sales to resolve disputes
- Manage returns, restocking fees, credit memos, and customer credit issuance
- Administer and ensure compliance with company credit insurance policy and customer credit limits
- Prepare and analyze AR aging reports and provide regular collections performance reporting to management
- Oversee reconciliation and posting of cash accounts and support audit processes
- Serve as escalation point for billing and customer inquiries and coordinate cross-functional resolution
- Delegate and prioritize ad hoc AR-related requests and team tasks
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required
- Professional certification (CPA or CMA) preferred
