Responsibilities
- Lead design, development, testing, deployment, and support of OMS trading applications
- Collaborate with trading, product, quants, risk, compliance, architects, and DevOps to translate business requirements into scalable, resilient technical solutions
- Author clear technical documentation for mission-critical projects
- Ensure solutions adhere to DriveWealth’s architecture and best practices for redundancy and resiliency
- Enhance existing Java applications and build new systems from the ground up
- Monitor production systems, troubleshoot incidents, and assist remediation
- Work with broker-dealer operations to support and enhance trading flows
- Manage, mentor, and prioritize a small engineering team and own one or more small-to-medium projects
- Coordinate cross-team priorities and deliverables
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience
- Advanced degree (Masters/PhD) in a technical or quantitative field preferred but not required
