Responsibilities
- Lead design, development, testing, deployment, and support of mission-critical API endpoints that feed trading systems
- Collaborate with Product, Risk, Compliance, Architects, DevOps, and cross-functional partners to translate business requirements into scalable, resilient technical solutions
- Author clear technical documentation for complex trading projects and implementation plans
- Enforce and evolve DriveWealth architectural standards for scale, redundancy, and resiliency
- Enhance existing Java applications and build new services from the ground up
- Monitor production, troubleshoot incidents, and drive remediation and post-incident improvements
- Partner with Broker-Dealer Operations to support and improve trading systems
- Manage a small engineering team, prioritize resources, and own one or more small-to-medium projects/applications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Master’s degree preferred but not required
