- 5+ years title and escrow experience with proven closing track record
- Strong understanding of title searches, commitments, and curative items
- Ability to review and follow lender instructions in full
- Excellent verbal and written communication with borrowers and executive-level lender contacts
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and manage heavy call volume in a metrics-driven environment
- Customer-service orientation and solution-driven mindset
- Proficiency with common office and escrow-related software; Resware experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Communicate professionally and timely with borrowers and lender partners
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse lenders
- Identify, communicate, and resolve curative title and escrow issues
- Prepare and review closing documents (deeds, subordinations, final settlement statements, revised CDs, affidavits)
- Perform pre-close quality reviews of title and escrow files
- Review lender documents for accuracy and adherence to instructions
- Balance Closing Disclosures and confirm vesting during balancing
- Deliver closing packages to notaries/signing agents and verify signed documents
- Perform post-close file review and prepare files for policy generation, recording, and disbursement
- Adhere to compliance and quality standards and manage escalations
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
- Relevant industry certifications or state licensing preferred where applicable
