Senior Network Operations Manager, Specialty Care

Spring Health is a clinically validated mental health benefits provider on a mission to remove barriers to mental healthcare. The Senior Network Operations Manager, Specialty Care will lead provider vetting, network build, and referral operations for high-acuity specialty care programs, collaborating with Clinical, Provider Operations, Sales, and Customer Success teams to scale a high-quality external provider network.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage vetting process for higher levels of care (HLOC) providers across multiple specialties and establish critical external partnerships
  • Support customer-specific provider vetting to ensure key accounts have access to trusted, high-quality partners
  • Design, build, and maintain an internal provider vetting framework in partnership with Provider Operations and Clinical teams
  • Define and document vetting criteria, workflows, and feedback loops with internal stakeholders
  • Conduct external research and outreach to identify high-quality providers, facilities, and services
  • Act as primary operational point of contact for external provider organizations during outreach and initial assessments
  • Collaborate with Clinical and Sales & Customer Success to align network growth with member needs and customer expectations
  • Design and document SOPs for referral processes and optimize workflows
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation for referral support and workflow efficiency
  • Troubleshoot and evolve internal referral pathways and track key metrics to improve referral success and partner performance

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, public health or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • Master's degree in related field preferred but not required
  • Clinical licensure not required
