We’re hiring a Credit Lead to build and lead our credit business from the ground up. You’ll be responsible for launching our first credit card product and putting in place everything it takes to scale it safely and successfully: credit policies, product strategy, partnerships, and operations.
This is a senior, hands-on role where you’ll work closely with the founders, product, engineering, legal, operations, and external partners to build a product that is loved by users and a critical driver of business growth. We’re not looking to build a basic credit product — we’re setting out to build a product that is world-class in user experience, credit management, and operational execution.
Building the credit underwriting and risk management policies that support our first credit card product.
Leading the launch of the credit card — including product development, operational processes, and go-to-market execution.
Managing the full credit lifecycle: from onboarding and limit assignment to repayments, collections, and fraud prevention.
Building relationships with issuing banks, processors, credit bureaus, and other key partners.
Tracking and managing the financial performance of the credit product, including credit losses and profitability.
Hiring and leading the initial team across product, risk, and operations.
8+ years of experience in credit or lending, ideally in consumer credit cards, unsecured lending, or fintech.
Deep understanding of credit risk, underwriting, and collections — and how to build these into a modern, user-friendly product.
Proven experience launching and scaling a credit card or consumer lending product.
Comfortable working with external partners such as banks, processors, and credit bureaus.
A collaborative mindset — you’ll work closely with product managers, engineers, and designers to build the full product experience.
Hands-on attitude: able to solve problems directly and build from scratch.
Experience in Latin American markets.
Spanish or Portuguese language skills.
Experience scaling a credit product from 0 to millions of users.

We are an ambitious and passionate team building the financial system for the next century. If you close your eyes and imagine, the vision is simple: a global system, without hidden fees or unfair FX rates. With control in the hands of customers instead of the hands of banks. With rails that are faster and more efficient than ever before. With wealth management capabilities to grow your savings for decades and build generational money.
We believe that small teams with the best talent outcompete massive companies with mediocre capabilities. That’s why we have gathered a set of people who have done it before at iconic companies like Revolut, Uber, Amazon, Block and UBS: we owned some of the most loved and profitable products, delivered top-notch transaction processing platforms, created beautiful mobile applications - and helped them become profitable companies that changed the lives of millions of people.
At DolarApp we strive to turn the financial system upside down, starting with the Americas. We are nimble but ambitious. We innovate and we learn fast to help our users, with technology as our greatest ally. We do it as a team and we are looking for world class talent to join the movement. Are you ready?
