We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a technology platform modernization initiative aimed at handling increasing business volumes and improving operational efficiency. The role focuses on gathering and analyzing business requirements, implementing new workflows to reduce manual processing, and ensuring the platform meets scalability and reliability needs. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, enabling delivery of high-quality, efficient solutions.
• Elicit, document, and analyze business requirements to support modernization efforts.
• Collaborate with technical teams, including developers and cloud engineers, to design and implement scalable workflows.
• Work closely with stakeholders to identify pain points, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for Agile Scrum teams.
• Support testing, validation, and verification of implemented solutions to ensure they meet business objectives.
• Assist in process mapping, impact analysis, and change management activities.
• Participate in workshops and meetings to ensure clear communication between business and technical teams.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in technology modernization or software development projects.
• Proven experience gathering, documenting, and analyzing business requirements.
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology and working in cross-functional Agile teams.
• Experience working with cloud-based platforms and understanding of AWS infrastructure is a plus.
• Knowledge of software development concepts, APIs, and database structures (Oracle SQL, PL/SQL) is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with both business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Experience in fintech, brokerage, or financial services domains.
• Ability to support process modernization and operational efficiency improvements.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and observability tools (Splunk, Datadog) is a plus.
• Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable facilitating workshops, process mapping, and requirements validation sessions.
