About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking a IT Project Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure, including project planning, execution, monitoring, and controlling.
• Must have run a large HelpDesk project. 
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure adherence to them throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project deliverables.
• Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, design, quality assurance, and product management, to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner, and provide recommendations for resolution.
• Facilitate effective team meetings, workshops, and discussions to drive project progress and decision-making.
• Track project performance metrics and KPIs, and provide regular reports to management and stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and methodologies.

Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience:  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience 5-8 as a Technical Project Manager or similar role in a technology-driven environment.

Required and Desired Skills/Certifications: 

• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
