We’re supercharging the clean economy.
Crux is the capital markets platform changing the way clean energy and manufacturing projects are financed in the U.S. Crux’s platform, market intelligence, and expert team help developers and manufacturers unlock financing through all stages of project development and operation.
Our team of 50+ is composed of experts in energy, tax, finance, government, and technology. We have raised $77 million in capital from some of the best investors, including Andreessen Horowitz, Lowercarbon Capital, New System Ventures, Overture, Ardent Venture Partners, QED, Canapi, and others. These funds are joined by strategic investors including Pattern Energy, Clearway Energy, EDF Renewables, Intersect Power, LS Power, Orsted, Hartree Partners, Liberty Mutual Strategic Ventures, MassMutual Ventures, and OMERS Ventures.
An inflection point in American energy and manufacturing.
Energy demand is growing for the first time in 20 years, driven by surging manufacturing, transportation, electrification, and data centers. Simultaneously, hundreds of billions of dollars are being invested in domestic supply chains for critical minerals and components. Developers and manufacturers will require trillions of dollars in capital to meet growing needs.
Without Crux, the capital markets supporting this transformation remain opaque, fragmented, and complex. We recognized the missing infrastructure: a central capital markets platform designed specifically for the next century of American energy and industry. By connecting counterparties, providing market intelligence, and streamlining transactions, we unlock faster decision making, lower cost of capital, and accelerated investment.
The Role
We are hiring a Business Operations teammate to design and deploy automation-first marketing infrastructure across our top-of-funnel and GTM systems. This role is tailored for a strategic problem-solver who blends operational fluency with a systems-thinking mindset—someone who's excited to identify growth bottlenecks, automate lead generation processes, and craft robust marketing operations that help Crux scale.
This is a high-impact, cross-functional role embedded within our Growth team while reporting to Ops. You'll be instrumental in eliminating friction across our marketing workflows, leveraging tools like HubSpot, Clay, Apollo, and advanced automation platforms, and pushing the envelope on how we use AI and data to optimize our entire marketing funnel from lead generation through sales handoff.
We believe that the right hire will help us build stable and scalable marketing systems that support Crux's growth while continuously optimizing for customer acquisition and revenue acceleration. The number one skillset we're looking for in this role is strategic problem scoping & execution—being able to take ambiguous marketing challenges, identify the core operational issues, prioritize across multiple solutions, and relentlessly drive toward measurable business outcomes.
If you're energized by a scrappy environment, fast feedback cycles, and the chance to deeply shape how a marketing organization scales from Series B into hypergrowth, we want to talk.

Build attribution & analytics systems: Create comprehensive reporting infrastructure that provides clear ROI visibility and actionable insights across all marketing channels and campaigns
Champion AI-powered marketing automation: Lead implementation of AI tools and workflows to accelerate lead generation, enrichment, and qualification processes
Collaborate across Growth and Commercial teams: Partner closely with Growth, Commercial, Product, and Engineering to ensure marketing systems are robust, business-aligned, and drive measurable outcomes
