Responsibilities
- Review and analyze client information and insurance requirements to determine appropriate coverage options
- Calculate premiums, deductibles, and policy limits using underwriting guidelines, rating systems, and available actuarial data
- Prepare and deliver detailed insurance quotes to sales agents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company guidelines
- Collaborate with sales agents, underwriters, and other insurance professionals to resolve quote and coverage questions
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance products, industry trends, and regulatory requirements
- Assist in development and implementation of quoting tools, processes, and strategies to improve efficiency
- Monitor and report bugs or irregularities in the internal quoting system and work with engineering to resolve issues
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal and external clients
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- College degree preferred
