- Active California license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Strong pediatric clinical assessment and treatment skills
- Experience with play-based and functional interventions
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy practices
- Accurate documentation and billing practices
- Ability to occasionally lift/move up to 40 pounds and perform typical clinical physical activities
Responsibilities
- Conduct dynamic and standardized speech and language assessments and establish individualized treatment goals.
- Provide individual therapy, group sessions, and co-treatments as clinically appropriate.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to create and implement integrated treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and billing in compliance with federal/state regulations and company policy.
- Deliver play-based and goal-based interventions considering sensory processing, regulation, and motor differences.
- Facilitate functional, stimulating experiences to help achieve individualized communication goals.
- Coach and educate families, caregivers, and team members on home programs and strategies.
- Contribute to program development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Education
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent graduate degree
- State licensure (California) to practice as an SLP
