Customer Service Associate

Copper is building electrified home appliances to accelerate household decarbonization. The Customer Service Associate will handle inbound customer and prospective-customer communication, manage service tickets in HubSpot, coordinate with engineering and third-party service providers, and support local Bay Area fulfillment and pickups. This role suits someone with strong communication skills, service coordination experience, and the ability to manage multiple cases with empathy.

Skills

  • Clear verbal and written communication in English
  • Experience with service coordination, operations, or logistics
  • Comfortable making and receiving customer calls
  • Ability to manage multiple service cases and follow through independently
  • Familiarity with CRM/ticketing workflows (HubSpot experience a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer and prospective customer inquiries via phone, email, and CRM
  • Process service tickets, order modifications, and manage assigned HubSpot tickets from triage to completion
  • Coordinate with third-party service providers and internal teams, ensuring proper documentation
  • Request and track parts through internal inventory and update records
  • Send instructions, media, and shipping information to service providers and log status updates
  • Close tickets when service is completed and communicate status internally
  • Support occasional local Bay Area pickups and fulfillment follow-ups
  • Proactively reach out to customers when necessary and collaborate cross-functionally

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • College coursework or degree preferred but not required
  • Relevant customer service or operations training helpful
