- Willingness to travel statewide with overnight stays
- Local to Richmond, VA for onsite interviews and work
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and improve network and telecommunications systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve network failures, coordinating with vendors
- Analyze network capacity and performance for large-scale networks
- Develop policies, guidelines, and support agreements
- Install, test, and inspect data and telecommunications systems
- Manage vendor relationships and validate network billing
- Oversee all phases of network installation and administration
- Research and document communication technologies, topologies, and trends
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers
- Use MS Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for documentation and communication
Education
- Relevant technical degree or equivalent experience in network engineering or IT
