About The Team: | The Team
The IT Service Desk is a highly dedicated team that consistently delivers timely, world-class customer service by prioritizing, coordinating, and facilitating IT support requests for the Dotdash Meredith organization. Reporting to the Principal, End-User Support, this role will support the Dotdash Meredith staff - including ticket triage, desktop support, conference room support, application /software support, and IT Walk-up coverage. Technical support may occur in-person or remotely via phone, Zoom, Slack, or Beyond Trust software.

The Role’s Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements
Education:
A high school diploma or higher, (i.e. an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field) or equivalent work experience is required.
Experience:
A minimum of 1-2 years of experience with an in-person or virtual technical support role in a fast-paced, high-volume support environment.
Specific Knowledge, Skills, Certifications and Abilities:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with users, understand their needs, and provide clear and helpful support.
Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts. Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS), and common applications (Microsoft Office Suite)
Ability to diagnose and resolve first-level technical problems, often under pressure.
Familiarity with using ticketing systems to track and manage support requests.
Ability to accurately document technical issues and solutions for future reference.
Possesses general proficiency in navigating Slack, Google Workspace, Office 365, and various other SaaS applications, including Jira and Confluence.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues.
Strong desire to learn new technologies and systems.
Ability to work occasionally after hours and on weekends for maintenance and as part of an on-call rotation, if needed.

Pay Range
Hourly: New York: $25.00 - $30.00The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Meredith’s total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives.
