Skills
- Strong proficiency in Python and hands-on coding
- Experience with machine learning libraries (e.g., PyTorch)
- Proven track record deploying AI/ML models from prototype to production
- Experience with large open-weight foundation models and parameter-efficient fine-tuning
- Knowledge of embeddings, vector indexing/search and related infrastructure
- Familiarity with AWS services for ML model delivery
- Experience with CI/CD, Git, automated testing and software engineering best practices
- Experience with observability and monitoring for ML systems
Responsibilities
- Design, build and ship new AI/ML-driven product features with emphasis on high-leverage approaches such as parameter-efficient fine-tuning of foundation models
- Collaborate with product managers and engineering leadership to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
- Explore and exploit Constant Contact’s proprietary data assets to identify and deliver model-driven value
- Implement and maintain observability, evaluation and monitoring for production ML systems and partner with stakeholders to act on insights
- Contribute as a core member of cross-functional, agile product teams
- Continuously research and prototype state-of-the-art AI/ML methods and tools to drive product innovation
- Define engineering design strategies addressing scalability, performance, security and long-term technical direction
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or related field with 8+ years of relevant experience
- OR Master’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience
- Equivalent experience in software engineering roles with demonstrated AI/ML emphasis considered
