We are seeking a Director of Financial Aid Operations & Technology to oversee technical aspects and operations related to financial aid within the student information system, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations, leading staff, developing objectives, coordinating projects, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
Skills: Required skills include in-depth knowledge of financial aid regulations, technology management, and experience in supervising staff.
Qualifications: A Master's degree in a relevant field is required, along with at least five years of financial aid experience and three years of supervisory experience.
Location: Position is based at one of the campuses in Dundalk, Essex, or Catonsville, USA, with some required travel between locations.
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation ranges for this position are between $85,000 - $120,000.
The purpose of this position is to provide technical oversight and support to the Financial Aid office as it relates to the student information system and software products utilized in the delivery of federal, state, and institutional financial aid. This position is responsible for the configuration, operation, and maintenance of the technology platforms used to capture, store, and process information used in the administration of financial aid.
Master's degree required. Degree in Business, Education, Finance, Information Technology or related field preferred. Five (5) years of experience working in financial aid with a knowledge base to include the federal regulations governing the financial aid process and technology at a senior level required. Three (3) years of supervisory experience required; experience may be concurrent.
Position will be based on either the Dundalk, Essex, or Catonsville campus locations. Some travel between locations and evenings during peak times will be necessary.
Compensation within the posted range is determined by a candidate's education level and/or years of experience in the field. Generally, employees are hired in the lower third of the scale .
