Website Marketing Manager

Code.org is a nonprofit dedicated to expanding K-12 AI and computer science education globally. The Website Marketing Manager will support the Director of Email & Website to manage and optimize Code.org and CSforALL sites, improving user experience, SEO, analytics, and conversion outcomes for educators, students, donors, and partners.

Skills

  • Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., Contentful, Framer) and managing CMS-driven sites
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics and Google Search Console (GA4 knowledge preferred)
  • Foundational UX/UI knowledge and information architecture experience
  • Practical SEO skills including keyword strategy and metadata optimization
  • Experience with web performance monitoring and optimization tools
  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with accessibility (WCAG) and responsive design principles
  • Ability to run or support A/B testing and experimentation

Responsibilities

  • Assist day-to-day management and optimization of Code.org and CSforALL websites ensuring performance, accessibility, and mobile-responsiveness
  • Collaborate with Engineering and external developers to execute the website roadmap, technical improvements, and content updates
  • Implement UX/UI improvements based on user research, analytics, and stakeholder input to increase usability and conversions
  • Support content strategy, information architecture, metadata, and SEO efforts to increase search visibility and traffic
  • Monitor site performance and user behavior with analytics tools and create reports and dashboards with the Marketing Analyst
  • Support conversion optimization for donation and advocacy pages through A/B testing, personalization, and user journey analysis
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Advocacy, Programs, Fundraising) to align web content with campaigns and priorities
  • Help manage relationships with web vendors and contractors, ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Web Design, or a related field (required)
