Skills
- 7+ years of penetration testing or equivalent offensive security experience.
- Proven security research and vulnerability discovery skills.
- Exploit development and proof-of-concept creation experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication, including presenting at events.
- Tooling and scripting ability to support research workflows.
- Active engagement in security community activities (CTFs, conferences, publications).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently as a self-starter.
Responsibilities
- Design and document cutting-edge security service offerings, methodologies, and checklists.
- Conduct deep-dive research into emerging vulnerabilities, exploits, and attack techniques.
- Develop proof-of-concept exploits and mitigation strategies for discovered issues.
- Collaborate with a global network of 450+ penetration testers to share knowledge and drive consistency.
- Build and improve internal research tooling to accelerate discovery and validation.
- Publish technical research via whitepapers, blogs, and conference presentations.
- Present findings at security conferences and participate in community events (e.g., Defcon villages).
- Contribute to developing training materials, mentorship, and thought leadership within the team.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are beneficial but not required.
- Ongoing professional development and community engagement strongly encouraged.
