Quantitative Research Analyst - Smart Execution
Skills
- MS or PhD in a quantitative field (science, engineering, finance, or similar)
- 3+ years of relevant experience at a bank, asset manager, hedge fund, or proprietary trading firm
- Proven track record developing intraday alpha signals or execution algorithms in Futures or FX
- Experience working with tick/order-book data and market microstructure signals
- Advanced programming skills (preferably Python and C++)
- Experience evaluating broker execution algos and measuring execution costs
- Familiarity with statistical modeling; exposure to machine learning and high-performance computing is helpful
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize proprietary execution strategies and intraday systematic strategies for Futures and FX
- Conduct market microstructure research to generate trading signals and quantify execution costs
- Measure and evaluate performance of internal and broker execution algorithms
- Analyze tick and order-book data and large datasets to build predictive statistical models
- Collaborate with trading, engineering, and research teams to implement strategies and improve systems and processes
- Provide actionable feedback and ideas to enhance execution quality and operational workflows
Education
- MS or PhD in a quantitative discipline (required)
