Job Title: Python Developer with Scala to Python Conversion Experience

Location: Omaha, NE (Onsite)

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Python Developer with experience in Scala to Python conversion for our Snowflake projects. The ideal candidate will design and maintain scalable data pipelines and effectively translate Scala codebases into Python scripts. This role involves collaboration with data analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver robust data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python and Snowflake.
• Analyze existing Scala codebases and translate them into efficient Python scripts.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows to ingest, transform, and load large datasets into Snowflake.
• Integrate Snowflake with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and third-party tools.
• Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions.
• Implement data quality, governance, and security best practices.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance and reliability.
• Automate data workflows and support CI/CD practices for data engineering.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Scala and Python programming.
• Strong experience with Snowflake (data modeling, stored procedures, performance tuning).
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline orchestration.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

The base salary range for this position is $92,250 - $144,964, plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies. Benefits available to eligible employees in this role include medical, dental, and vision insurance, comprehensive employee assistance program, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off and holidays.
