Product Manager Intern (Spring 2026)
Skills
- Technical literacy to read and understand code (JavaScript, Python, Go, or Rust)
- Understanding of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS) is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to define and measure success metrics
- Experience or interest in user research and product specification writing
- Familiarity with developer tools (e.g., Git, command-line) is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research and competitive analysis to identify user needs and product opportunities
- Define product requirements and success metrics for assigned projects
- Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and senior product staff to deliver features to spec
- Track and analyze product metrics to ensure launched features solve real user problems
- Write clear product documentation and specifications
- Present findings, tradeoffs, and outcomes to stakeholders
- Proactively identify and solve complex problems to improve product quality and scale
Education
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business, HCI, or related field
- Ability to commit to a full-time 12-week internship (Jan 12, 2026 - May 1, 2026)
- Available to work in-office in Austin, TX 3-4 days per week during the internship
