About the Role
We’re seeking a Business Operations Lead to support our Operations function at a time of exciting growth and transformation. This role serves as a trusted partner to senior leadership and a key connector between strategy and execution. You’ll help drive clarity, accountability, and efficiency across teams—building tools, streamlining processes, and enabling continued scale in our organization. It offers a unique opportunity to get "in the weeds" and make recommendations that have measurable and lasting impact. This position is well-suited for someone eager to grow into a senior leadership role in operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Enablement
- Partner with leadership to implement operational initiatives and monitor progress against company priorities.
- Create reports, dashboards, and decks that support executive decision-making and client-facing teams.
- Identify and escalate trends, risks, and opportunities through proactive analysis of operational data.
Process Improvement
- Evaluate and refine workflows across departments to improve service delivery, billing accuracy, and client satisfaction.
- Lead or support initiatives that reduce errors, improve visibility, and drive alignment between teams.
- Lead cleanup and prevention efforts related to data and process quality.
Systems & Tools
- Oversee the use and administration of internal business systems (e.g., CRM, SharePoint) to ensure they support evolving business needs.
- Collaborate with technology partners to resolve issues, implement improvements, and build scalable solutions.
- Communicate and push out mass updates or settings changes made by vendors or own bespoke workflows.
- Field internal questions and provide support and training to ensure effective system use across the organization.
Team & Operations Support
- Partner closely with account managers, dispatch, billing, and other teams to support daily execution and process compliance.
- Support new account setup, pricing configurations, and other operational onboarding activities.
- Assist in onboarding and training of staff, with a focus on work order systems, process adherence, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in business operations, consulting, or similar roles
- Strong analytical mindset and comfort navigating both high-level dashboards and operational detail
- High level of collaboration and interaction
- Highly organized, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools; familiarity with CRMs, workflow platforms, or low-code tools is a plus
- Experience in high-growth SMB's or PE-backed businesses is a strong advantage
- Desire to grow into an operational leadership position
