Sr. Software Engineer (Python)
Skills
- 6+ years software development experience with Python and JavaScript
- Experience with cloud-based application development (AWS preferred)
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD tooling
- Experience with streaming/data platforms (Kafka) and relational databases (Postgres)
- Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, and deploy backend and frontend features across the platform
- Drive engineering excellence by defining best practices for testing, documentation, and observability
- Collaborate with product and cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and solve complex problems
- Make architectural decisions and take ownership of services and components
- Mentor and collaborate with junior engineers to elevate team capabilities
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
- Equivalent practical experience will be considered
