Join our dynamic team at the Office of Design and Construction, within the Transportation Planning and Management Division. We lead professional engineering oversight for curb line geometry and street plans across New York City's five Boroughs. With oversight of 11 construction contracts valued at several million dollars and responsibility for overseeing the installation of 60 million linear feet (MLF) of markings per year, our mission is to enhance the safety and functionality of city streets, aligning with crucial initiatives such as Vision Zero and other city goals. The candidate will coordinate closely with RRM, the Borough Commissioner’s Office, and internal stakeholders to resolve conflicts, improve efficiency, and ensure all materials and field methods meet agency standards and specifications.
This position requires collaboration with the Quality Assurance team to confirm that thermoplastic, MMA, gravel, and epoxy materials meet the required standards.
