Senior Electrical Systems Test and Integration Engineer
Skills
- Hands-on LabVIEW experience and NI hardware (PXI, cDAQ, cRIO)
- 3+ years NX CAD 3D modeling and drafting experience
- Designing rugged electrical harnesses for commercial, industrial, aerospace, or military use
- Familiarity with common bus interfaces (CAN, Ethernet, RS422, RS232, MIL-STD-1553)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Eligible to obtain and maintain U.S. Secret security clearance
Responsibilities
- Design and build test systems for development, qualification, verification, and validation of avionics components
- Assemble, test, and troubleshoot avionics hardware in lab, ground, and flight environments
- Manage concurrent test and integration efforts across multiple projects and lifecycle stages
- Participate in design reviews providing testability, integration, and reliability feedback
- Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve integration and field issues
- Develop and maintain test procedures, automation scripts, and documentation for repeatable testing
- Coordinate with avionics, systems, and software teams to integrate hardware and instrumentation
- Support field operations and flight test planning, execution, and data capture
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
- Relevant technical coursework or certifications in test systems, avionics, or electrical design
