Overview

Along with the director and manager of the Culture and Language Coaching Program, brings our organizational aspirations to life by designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating programs and resources for the KC Community of Bilingual Practice. This includes fostering community spaces and serving as the main point of contact for internal and external partners, as well as helping design and implement program evaluation.

 

This position is  18 month, grant-funded position

Responsibilities

 

Program Coordination

  • Delivers on goals and strategies, as set by director and manager including the organization of timelines, project planning, the creation of standard work and infrastructure.
  • Central point of contact for team members and community stakeholders in a growing network of community partners
  • Oversees and monitors contract submissions, addendums, renewals, and external vendor relationships
  • Writes, edits, and coordinates communications as well as distribution of materials as appropriate to the programs
  • Maintains and coordinates program/project calendars, records, and databases; researches information, gathers and computes various data
  • Prepares special and/or one-time reports, summaries; replies to inquiries, selecting relevant data from a variety of sources

 

Program Evaluation

  • Helps program leadership and advisors develop and execute evaluation of the KC CBP program, including related data collection, management and reporting protocols
  • Conducts analysis of programs and makes recommendations for future program planning implementation
  • Establishes consistent data collection, reporting and evaluation systems and procedures

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree  Preferred degrees include communications, community development, organizational and 1-2 years experience    
  • Must have previous experience and strong knowledge of project management and program development.
  • HS diploma or equivalent and  3-5 years experience  Preferred experience in project management and program development.
  • Bilingual preferred

Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $25.52/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.

 

 

Remote Work/Work from Home

This is an intermittent remote position, which means that the person hired will work with his or her manager to determine a schedule that includes both at home and on-site hours at a Children’s Mercy location. The incumbent must live in the Kansas City metro area.
