Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in state advocacy or policy, with a preference for candidates familiar with child, youth, or family-focused policy development.
Location: This position is fully remote, allowing work from anywhere in the United States.
Compensation: $90000 - $97500 / Annually

About the Position:
Children’s Funding Project is seeking a Senior Manager of State Impact to strengthen our relationships with state advocacy partners and expand the technical assistance we offer state partners with active advocacy goals. Specifically, the Senior Manager will work with state partners to understand and use strategic public financing tools - including fiscal maps, cost models, and revenue options analyses - to advance their advocacy goals. The Senior Manager will also provide strategic coaching to partners on campaign planning and coalition-building. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in state-level advocacy, strong communication, organization, and people skills, and the ability to guide partners from early readiness through coordinated action. The Senior Manager will work collaboratively across the organization, including the Fiscal Data Infrastructure and State Tax Policy teams. This new, full-time exempt position will report to the Senior Director of Fiscal Data Infrastructure.

Compensation: This position falls into the Senior Manager level of our salary structure. Although the full salary range for the position is $90,000-105,000, we expect the hiring range to be between $90,000-97,500, based on skills, experience, and internal equity.
