Skills
- Expertise building modern front-end apps (e.g., React) and back-end services (Node.js, Python).
- Proven experience designing and implementing scalable APIs and data-driven applications.
- Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and CI/CD practices.
- Experience integrating or building around AI/ML services, especially inference and interactive AI tools.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders and a product-focused mindset.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications powering research workflows.
- Collaborate with scientists, product managers, and engineers to build intuitive front-ends and robust back-end services.
- Integrate ML inference pipelines, human-in-the-loop interfaces, and data management systems into a cohesive platform.
- Drive architectural decisions and contribute to long-term technical planning for extensibility and scale.
- Ensure high code quality via code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD.
- Partner with infrastructure and platform teams to ensure deployment, observability, and operational stability.
- Enable researchers to bring their own data and customize processing pipelines and workflows.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Graduate degree (MS/PhD) in a relevant field is beneficial for technical depth but not required.
