Position: Senior Account Director – Retail (Data & AI Services)
Location: Remote (Preferred: NJ or NY, with travel as required)

Purpose :
We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Director with a strong retail background to drive client engagement and strategic account growth for our Data and AI services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with retail domain clients (retail products, retail operations, and digital commerce), with proven expertise in Big Data, Advanced Analytics, and AI-driven solutions. This role requires strong skills in relationship management, strategic consulting, and enterprise account leadership within the retail industry.
Key Result Areas and Activities
Drive Retail Engagements: Develop and expand strategic relationships with leading retail companies, identifying opportunities to deliver Big Data, Analytics, and AI-driven solutions.
Client Relationship Management: Build trusted partnerships with senior stakeholders (C-level executives, supply chain heads, merchandising, marketing, and IT) to enable long-term account growth.
Strategic Account Leadership: Serve as the primary point of contact for enterprise retail accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, value delivery, and repeat engagements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with delivery, product, and solution teams to design and deliver data-driven solutions tailored to retail clients.
Industry Expertise & Advisory: Leverage knowledge of retail domain operations such as supply chain, merchandising, digital commerce, customer analytics, and store operations to provide consultative insights.
Forecasting & Reporting: Maintain a strong pipeline of retail opportunities, forecast revenue accurately, and report key performance metrics to leadership.
Essential Skills
15+ years of experience in the retail industry with a focus on enterprise account management, client engagement, or strategic consulting.
Strong understanding of retail operations including supply chain, merchandising, digital commerce, and customer experience analytics.
Proven expertise in Big Data, Data Analytics, and AI solutions for retail use cases (demand forecasting, customer personalization, inventory optimization, omni-channel strategy, etc.).
Proven success in managing executive-level relationships within large retail organizations.
Ability to influence senior stakeholders and align solutions with client needs.
Willingness to travel as required for client meetings, industry events, and workshops.
Desirable Skills
Experience in driving digital transformation initiatives in retail organizations.
Knowledge of retail analytics platforms, cloud data platforms, and AI solutions used in the retail domain.
Familiarity with retail data standards, compliance, and ecosystem technologies.
Strong professional network within top retail companies and F500 organizations.
