We’re seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Designer to support our design team in the creation and development of distinctive fine and fashion jewelry collections for brands like Kurt Geiger. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, contributing to every stage of the design process—from concept development to final execution.
Strategy & Innovation
Partner with Senior Designers in early design research, gathering reference materials, trend insights, and seasonal inspiration.
Assist in conceptualizing initial seasonal ideas that align with the broader product strategy and brand aesthetic.
Source images, stones, finishes, and materials to support mood boards, storytelling, and collection development.
Support adherence to the product development calendar by helping track design timelines and project milestones.
Create and revise technical drawings (CADs and hand sketches) using Adobe Illustrator and/or Rhino/Matrix.
Prepare presentation decks, visual line sheets, and internal review tools.
Maintain and update accurate records in Product Data Tracker (PDT) sheets, PLM systems, and shared drives.
Assist in tracking samples and coordinating with vendors for approvals, material updates, and pricing requests.
Organize and manage the material and sample library, including plating swatches, gemstone references, and archival designs.
Work closely with Product Development, Production, and Merchandising teams to ensure seamless design handoffs and development progress.
Help nurture and maintain productive relationships with both domestic and international vendors.
Actively contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
Demonstrate ownership of tasks and communicate effectively with supervisors, seeking guidance and feedback as needed.
Bachelor’s degree in Jewelry Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
1–2 years of experience in fine or fashion jewelry design.
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator; knowledge of jewelry CAD software such as Rhino, Matrix, or ZBrush is a strong plus.
Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Strong interest in jewelry, materials, craftsmanship, and visual storytelling.

Salary Range: $55,000-$70,000

Our job postings include an annual base salary range at the time of employment. The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
