Principal Value Engineer - Oil & Gas
Skills
- Proven experience in value selling, executive stakeholder management and presenting to C-level audiences.
- Strong analytics background with experience in SQL and/or Python and working with BI tools or dashboards.
- Familiarity with enterprise SaaS (e.g., SAP integrations), AI agents, RPA, and process mining concepts.
- Ability to run workshops, build business cases, and translate analytics into actionable process improvements.
- Project management skills to manage scope, timelines and customer expectations.
- Deep industry knowledge in Oil & Gas, Utilities and/or Chemicals and understanding of Finance and Supply Chain functions.
Responsibilities
- Discover and translate customer strategic priorities into Celonis use cases and build business cases and demos using industry benchmarks.
- Lead Value Assessments and Proof-of-Value projects; articulate value opportunity and roadmaps to C-level stakeholders.
- Facilitate business value workshops, identify opportunities for process enhancement, and define improvement actions.
- Drive adoption, expansion and renewal by owning the end-to-end customer value journey and building strategic expansion roadmaps.
- Collaborate with partners, Celonis Services and product teams to operationalize new use cases and provide product feedback.
- Present realized value and outcomes to senior management and executive sponsors.
- Coordinate with IT and cross-functional teams to integrate Celonis into customer environments and enable enterprise-wide change.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Business Engineering, Technology, Informatics, Mathematics or similar required.
- Master’s degree or additional certifications in relevant fields preferred.
