Mental Health Therapist, Part-time - MN / Remote
Skills
- Clinical experience delivering CBT, DBT, ACT, solution-focused therapy, and/or motivational interviewing
- Proven telehealth delivery experience
- Comfort with technology including Zoom, GSuite, and electronic health record systems
- Strong written and verbal communication for collaborating with school staff and families
- Organizational skills to manage caseloads and documentation
- Ability to work peak hours (Mon–Fri 3–8pm ET; Sat 8–5)
Responsibilities
- Deliver mental health assessments and skills-based teletherapy to elementary, middle, and high school students (typically 2–4 months, up to 6 months)
- Coordinate care with referring school counselors, psychologists, and other providers through calls, emails, and virtual meetings
- Build trusted relationships with school staff and families to support student mental health and school engagement
- Provide psychoeducation and caregiver support to enhance therapy outcomes
- Collaborate with Cartwheel MDs/NPs on treatment planning and transition planning
- Partner with External Referrals to identify community mental health and primary care resources
- Participate in case consultation and contribute to clinical program development
Education
- Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or Marriage/Family/Child Counseling from an accredited program
- Active clinical license required (LCSW/LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, PhD/PsyD or equivalent)
- Eligibility to practice in the state of licensure and deliver telehealth services
