Senior Full Stack Engineer
Skills
- 6-8 years software engineering experience with full-stack ownership
- Proficiency in modern backend languages such as Python, Java, Go, or Node.js
- Experience with API frameworks (Spring Boot, Express.js, FastAPI) and API design (REST, GraphQL, gRPC)
- Frontend proficiency with TypeScript and React
- Experience with API gateways and management tools (Kong, Apigee, AWS API Gateway)
- Familiarity with message queues and streaming (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SNS/SQS)
- Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT and authentication/authorization patterns
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Lead technical efforts across multiple teams or subsystems and own system architecture across the stack
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure RESTful, GraphQL and event-driven APIs and UIs
- Own reliability, observability, and operational excellence to meet defined SLAs
- Prototype and introduce new technologies or architectural approaches to improve org capabilities
- Mentor and sponsor engineers across levels and drive career development
- Drive process improvements to increase delivery quality and cross-team collaboration
- Manage API lifecycle including versioning, authentication, monitoring, and performance optimization
- Develop and maintain integration pipelines between SaaS systems, data sources, and third-party apps
- Troubleshoot integration issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement fixes
- Write and maintain technical documentation and API specifications (OpenAPI/Swagger)
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field required
- Master’s degree or relevant certifications (AWS Developer, Apigee API Engineer) preferred
