“MADE IN NY” POST PRODUCTION TRAINING IN NYC The “Made in NY” Post Production Training Program prepares low-income, unemployed, and underemployed New Yorkers for entry level opportunities in the post production industry. Our program provides a combination of soft skills and technical training in industry-standard software. After completion of the program, we provide career guidance and placement support to trainees for two years as they establish their careers. Our program is delivered in partnership with the New York City Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment and NYC Small Business Services.
OUR PROGRAM This free course is a six-week, full-time training program running Monday through Friday from 9AM-5PM. Training for the “Made in NY” Post Production Training Program takes place remotely, via Zoom. In addition to learning post production concepts, job readiness, and the skills necessary to succeed as a freelancer in NYC, our trainees will learn the basics of industry-standard post production software, including:
OUR TRAINEES “Made in NY” Post Production Program trainees are eager to work in post production, and often have previous experience in the production, entertainment, or arts industries. Each cycle, we meet and screen hundreds of applicants for only 15 training slots, so please read our Apply page to make sure you meet the eligibility guidelines before attending an Information Session.
