The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Transportation Analyst to join the Boeing Licensed Transportation Team located in Seattle, WA.
Position Responsibilities:
Analyze historical data, logistics performance, and trends to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
Develop and implement strategies to reduce transportation costs, manage carrier contracts, and conduct cost-benefit analyses for projects.
Analyze current routing schematics to improve routes, enhance efficiency, and ensure timely delivery of materials between locations.
Identify operational inefficiencies, develop solutions, and implement process improvements to enhance transportation efficiency.
Track and report on operational metrics, including key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality, service, and spend.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience in Domestic and International Supply Chain Logistics
3+ years of experience working with CDL drivers and analyzing transportation data
3+ years of experience in data analysis with tools including Excel and Tableau including advanced features such as VBA and Macros and Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
Experience creating Powerpoint decks and presenting data driven recommendations to leadership, Management to Director level
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
A Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, industrial engineering, or related business discipline is preferred
