The Barry Service Corps Fellows program is a community engagement leadership position within the office of Ministry and Community Outreach. Students within the program will work with Ministry and Community Outreach staff to connect with Ministry and Community Outreach community partners to address various social justice issues. The Barry Service Corps Fellows program will allow students to help lead various office service trips such as Days of Impact and community partner specific projects.
The Faith Justice Fellow will partner interview and serve at one community partner’s site during the academic year. Through this partnership between the Faith Justice Fellow and the Community Partner each Fellow will learn how to be an advocate for addressing their community partners’ social justice issues. At the end of the Faith Justices Fellows work with their community partner each Faith Justice Fellow will present the work done during the Student Engagement Awards Poster Presentation Session.
Each Faith Justice Fellow will support the promotion of their partners’ work by promoting their partners initiatives on campus to the wider Barry University Community .
Each Faith Justice Fellow will support 4 Days of Service through the academic year by serving as student group leaders for fellow students attending the Day of Service Program.
Must be a Barry University undergrad student.
