Highlights:
Summary: The Director, Supply Chain shall be responsible to direct and manage the Supply Chain functions for Baptist Health’s purchasing, inventory management, and courier service. The Director will develop, implement, and monitor Supply Chain network goals and objectives to most effectively integrate the technical and human resources for support of the system. This individual will manage several million dollars in annualized supply expenses and capital expenditures. The Director will also plan, organize, and oversee activities in the areas and services of Sourcing, Contracting, Value Analysis, Distribution and Information Systems. Additionally, the Director will work directly with leadership to assure expectations of service are exceeded at each entity and alignment with Supply Chain initiatives.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Health Administration required, Master’s degree preferred. At least 10 years hospital supply chain experience and 5 years leadership experience required, preferably with multi-hospital supply chain experience. Involvement with receiving, storage, and distribution activities.
