On our team, you will work with Booz Allen colleagues, other support contractors, and U.S. Space Force personnel to develop and deploy the next generation of strategic military satellite communications capabilities. You will be an integral part of the engineering branch to assist the government in ensuring the space, ground, and crypto segments are integrated successfully to meet user’s needs. You will provide direct support to the chief engineer and manage the Booz Allen engineering team supporting the program office. Your expertise and innovative thinking will be critical to ensuring capabilities are delivered to meet the threat.

You Have:
7+ years of experience performing systems engineering on space Major Defense Acquisition Programs
7+ years of experience in systems engineering, including development and verification of functional and performance system-level requirements
5+ years of experience with space system and DoD program reviews, including SRR, SDR, and SFR, PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR, FCA, PCA
Ability to collaborate in cross-functional team meetings and task execution across systems engineering activities
Ability to be highly motivated, display a dynamic work ethic, and contribute to the DoD mission
Ability to establish strong working relationships with government clients, stakeholders, and vendor teammates
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science
Nice If You Have:
2+ years of experience with Military Satellite Communications Mission area
2+ years of experience with space acquisition
Experience with a software program utilizing Agile methodologies
Experience with Confluence or JIRA
Experience working with software factories or DevSecOps pipelines
Ability to learn and solve problems quickly and creatively
Top Secret clearance
Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science
Agile Certification, such as CSM, CPO, PMI-ACP, or ICP Certification
INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certifications, such as ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP Certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
