Responsibilities
- Perform rate indications and present recommendations to stakeholders
- Evaluate portfolio profitability using actuarial techniques and develop pricing actions
- Design and test modifications to rate plans and quantify business impact
- Automate and improve pricing processes and reporting for efficiency and visibility
- Collaborate cross-functionally with underwriting, product, claims, and decision engine teams to implement pricing changes
- Monitor product performance and KPIs, recommending adjustments as needed
- Support reinsurance analyses and capacity discussions as needed
- Coach and mentor junior actuarial analysts and communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or related field
- Progress toward actuarial designation (ACAS/FCAS) with 4+ exams passed preferred
