Ash & Harris Executive Search is looking for a Bankruptcy Attorney.
Overview:
Our client is a respected, multi-office law firm with a strong national reputation. This is a hybrid role based in New York City, offering the opportunity to work on high-profile bankruptcy and restructuring cases within a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 13 bankruptcy matters.
- Represent clients in bankruptcy court and manage adversary proceedings.
- Draft motions, pleadings, and discovery responses.
- Conduct legal research and provide strategic case advice.
- Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas to resolve complex issues.
- Manage client communications and maintain strong relationships.
- Support litigation matters related to insolvency and restructuring.
Requirements:
- Education: J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Experiences: Minimum of 2 years of bankruptcy law experience. Litigation experience is preferred.
- Other: Active admission to the New York State Bar (additional state admissions a plus). Must possess strong academic credentials, excellent legal writing skills, and superior communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: $200,000.00 - $315,000.00 per year.
- Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, and dental insurance, paid time off, and a retirement plan.
Schedule:
- Full-time
- Work arrangement: Hybrid (on-site three days per week in New York City office).
